The battle for in-store shopper attention is a constant priority. As Santa Maria’s digital innovation partner we constantly work to enhance their advantage towards the competition. In autumn 2013 we were asked to create a solution with purpose to collect insights about new ways to deepen and extend the consumer experience.
The result was a next generation retail shelf that combines directed sound, video, lights and mobile coupon rewards to create a multi-sense in-store experience.
Through an experimental and inventive process our focus was to find out how people react and respond to an in-store shelf environment that triggers all our senses.
